Decks & porches in Southeast Wisconsin
A deck is a framing job first. The footings, ledger and joists decide whether it's still solid in twenty years, and that's the part we build best.
What we build
- Backyard decks in pressure-treated lumber, cedar or composite
- Aluminum, composite and wood railing systems
- Covered front porches and porch roofs
- Entry stoops and steps to replace crumbling concrete
- Stairs, landings and code-compliant guardrails
- Deck replacement and repair of rotted framing
Built for Wisconsin winters
We set footings below frost depth, flash the ledger where the deck meets your house, and use hardware rated for treated lumber. That's what keeps a deck from heaving, pulling away or rotting at the rim.

A deck replacement, start to finish
A recent backyard job: we tore out an old deck, poured new footings and built a low-maintenance composite deck in its place.
Before
A worn, painted deck and stairs that had reached the end of their life.
Tear-out & footings
Old deck removed and new concrete footings poured below frost depth.
New framing
Pressure-treated beams, joists and stair stringers built level and square.
Finished
Composite decking, black aluminum railings and new stairs to the yard.

Built to last through Wisconsin winters
Composite boards don’t need staining, and the aluminum railings won’t rot or splinter. Underneath is the part that matters most: footings below frost line and framing that stays solid for decades.
From our customers
★★★★★Gilberto and his team did an amazing job with framing our dream house and deck. They were very attentive to all the details and went above and beyond what we ever expected. There are so many countless examples of little things that they did to ensure that our build is as strong as possible. Above that him and his team…
★★★★★Gilberto and his crew did a great job building my deck. Thanks G&A
Common questions
Do I need a permit for a deck?
Most municipalities in Southeast Wisconsin require one for attached decks or decks above a certain height. We build to code and can tell you what your plans need.
What decking material should I choose?
Pressure-treated is the most affordable, cedar looks great and weathers naturally, and composite needs the least maintenance. We can quote any of them.
Can you replace my front steps with a wood porch?
Yes. Replacing failing concrete steps with a framed stoop or porch is a common project for us.
