New home framing in Southeast Wisconsin
The frame is the part of your house nobody sees once the drywall is up, and the part everything else depends on. We build it straight, square and to code so every trade after us has an easier job.
What we frame
- Sill plates, floor joists, I-joists or open-web floor trusses, and subfloor
- Exterior and interior walls, headers and point loads per plan
- Roof trusses or stick-framed rafters, vaulted and cathedral ceilings
- Tray and coffered ceiling details
- Roof and wall sheathing, house wrap and window/door openings
- Stairs, landings and blocking for cabinets, rails and fixtures
How we work with you
We work directly for homeowners acting as their own general contractor and as the framing sub for builders. Either way you get a written quote from your plans, a start date you can schedule the other trades around, and a clean site at the end of each day.
We frame year-round. Wisconsin winters slow some crews down; ours keeps going whenever conditions are safe.
Ready for your inspection
Every frame we build is laid out to your plans and the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code. Our customers' rough framing inspections pass, and the electricians, plumbers and HVAC contractors who follow us notice the difference.
Homes we’ve built
See two recent ground-up builds: Oak Ridge, a ranch with coffered ceilings and a three-car garage, and Tess, a ranch with a walkout lower level.

Common questions
How long does it take to frame a house?
It depends on size and roof complexity. A typical single-story ranch is often framed in one to two weeks; larger two-story or custom homes take longer. We give you a schedule with your quote.
Do you supply the lumber?
We can quote labor only or labor and materials. Customers and other trades regularly comment on the quality of the framing lumber we supply.
Do you work for homeowners or only builders?
Both. Many of our customers are homeowners building their own home with their own subs; we also frame for local builders and general contractors.
Do you frame in winter?
Yes. We frame year-round across Southeast Wisconsin whenever conditions are safe to work.
